Professor Lesley King is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. She was previously the Private Client Practice Head at The College of Law in Bloomsbury and is currently a Professor and Professional Development Consultant with The University of Law (incorporating The College of Law).
She specialises in wills and related matters. She is a contributor to the Halsbury’s Laws title, Wills and Intestacy, and to Volumes 17(2) Gifts, 40(1)-(3) Trusts and Settlements and 42(1)-(3) Wills and Administration of the Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents. She is co-author of A Modern Approach to Wills, Administration and Estate Planning (with Precedents), A Modern Approach to Lifetime Tax Planning for Private Clients (with Precedents) (both Jordans), Wills, Taxation and Administration: A Practical Guide and editor of The Probate Practitioner’s Handbook. She is the wills and probate columnist for the Law Society Gazette, and writes and lectures extensively on wills, taxation and related matters.
