Sheree Green is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Anthony Collins Solicitors and is its Court of Protection lead, heading up the professional deputyship team. She is also an Office of the Public Guardian panel deputy. She advises on Court of Protection practice, mental capacity and mental health and represents individual clients and organisations that provide care and support, where age, disability or illness might affect the person’s ability to make their own choices. Sheree is Chair of the Law Society Committee on Mental Health and Disability and a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Tribunal Panel and regularly represents clients on community treatment orders or detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended). She is an experienced speaker and has delivered seminars to a wide range of audiences, including the Law Society, local authority teams, solicitors, the medical profession, police & CPS, carers, charitable organisations and social care providers. Sheree has also written chapters for the Law Society publications “The Assessment of Mental Capacity” and “The Elderly Client Handbook”, together with articles for the Journal of Adult Safeguarding and the Elder Law Journal.
