“Justine is amazing! She helped me when my mother became ill and managed to arrange everything quickly and efficiently so that we could get the best care in place for mum.”John Smith
I am Head of the Personal Law team and specialise in wills and wealth planning, powers of attorney and court of protection legal matters, with a strong focus on working with people who lack mental capacity and their families. I have a special interest in legal services that benefit the older person, in particular advising on care home fee funding, and generally helping people to plan for older age and put in place the arrangements that might help them later, for instance powers of attorney.
I am a fully accredited member and current Chair of Solicitors for the Elderly, as well as a fully qualified member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners). I am also a Trustee of Age UK, Cheshire East.
More about me
What was the first record / CD you bought?
The first record (7” single – shows my age!) that I ‘bought’ (I pestered my Dad until he went and bought it for me) was Uptown Girl by Billy Joel. I was only 4.
If you weren’t a lawyer what would you be doing?
I would be lying on a beach, somewhere hot.
If you could have a super power what would it be?
The ability to fly, it would make the school run much quicker.
