Webinar on foreign assets

There are often queries posted regarding foreign estates, so Stephen Duffy has let us know about a free webinar his firm is putting on: “Anglo-French Estates - How to Avoid Problems and Overcome Challenges.”

The webinar will be presented using a case study and common scenarios and will highlight problems frequently caused by poorly planned Anglo-French estates and their consequences, and will also identify how such problems can be avoided or resolved. It will consider the law(s) applicable to Anglo-French estates, as well as the law and practice surrounding accepting and selling French/foreign property on behalf of a child. 

The webinar is particularly timely, as the recent change to French law impacting estate planning & administration has now come into force and is likely to create issues for solicitors and their clients.
